Over the past year, some new and significant changes have been made to the site’s design. In brief, they are as follows:
- The redesign of the Homepage, with featured authors updated, a new ‘Collections’ section, a ‘Blog’ section and a section for latest works added to the site.
- A new ‘Texts’ section sortable by author, year, category and language.
- The introduction of dark mode compatible with your browser.
- The redesign of Irish-language texts into traditional Cló Gaelach font.
- The addition of breadcrumbs to improve website navigation (Home / Author / Book / Chapter).
- All texts have been justified in format (edges of the text now align with the margins) and the English font has been changed to Gentium.
- The addition of pagination to some works to make navigating through chapters easier.
- Reformatting of PDFs, examples can be found on the Collections section of the home page.

CLÓ GAELACH
Notes:
- Séimhiú (ḃfuil = bhfuil). In the old Irish script, placing a dot over the letter changes its sound by softening it (ṡ = sh, ḃ = bh etc).
- In some texts, a Tironian et symbol (⁊) is used. This is used in place for the conjunction ‘agus’ (and). It is somewhat like using & in English.

Note: The background image changes with the setting.

Note: The ‘Contents’ section contains hyperlinks which will lead you directly to each chapter directly. Or, alternatively, you can click on ‘Document outline’ on the top-left of the page.
